Nijii TV brings together free, rights-reviewed programming in a welcoming viewing experience. The catalog emphasizes Black-American and African-American stories because those voices, performances and creative histories deserve sustained visibility. That emphasis is expansive rather than exclusive: audiences and creators from every background are welcome.

Editorial discovery, not an endless feed

We organize programming into recognizable collections—Black Classics, Independent Voices, documentaries, animation, romance, family viewing, martial arts, music and performance, silent cinema and hidden treasures. A collection is an editorial invitation. It helps viewers understand why a work is present and what other paths through the catalog may be worth exploring.

Movie of the Night

At 8:00 PM each day, Movie of the Night creates a shared presentation around one selected program. The experience is designed to make streaming feel less isolated: viewers can arrive for the same title, at the same time, with Community participation available to signed-in members.

Respect for privacy and participation

Community members use unique public usernames. Email addresses and full account names are kept out of public chat. Private communication and public Community participation follow separate rules, and moderation authority remains restricted to authorized roles.

Access and silent cinema

Nijii TV preserves the original silent presentation of silent films. When a title is eligible, Nijii Enhanced Audio may provide an optional natural-sounding presentation. Enhanced tracks require human quality, synchronization and rights review; they never replace the original silent version.
