Silent cinema: visual storytelling in motion

Silent cinema rewards active looking. Its performers, editors, cinematographers, and designers developed tools that still shape film language.

More than a museum shelf

This collection is organized as a living route into comedy, drama, adventure, romance, and visual experiment. It invites viewers to choose a mood or genre rather than feeling required to study an entire era.

Presentation matters

Nijii treats original silent presentation as meaningful. Optional accessibility treatment is reviewed separately and is always described as an option rather than a replacement.
